About File Formats. MP3 is a digital audio format without digital rights management (DRM) technology. Because our MP3s have no DRM, you can play it on any device that supports MP3, even on your iPod!/5(2).

Nov 03,  · Point is not an easy listen. At points (no pun intended), you'll think that there is something wrong with your speakers, and seconds later, you'll think you're looking at the water in a quiet beach. Many obscure noises throughout this album are what make it such a fun listen, giving you something new overtime you listen to it%(6).

Jul 03,  · Cornelius: Point ‎ (CD, Album) Matador, Matador: OLE , OLE "Nowhere"), or, in the case of the John Zorn-esqe "I Hate Hate", attention span reduction and head shaking. When approached as belonging to any specific musical genre, "Point" can seem annoying, cheesy, and/or pretentious, like the trying-to-sound-as-radio-friendly-as 4/5(88).

Laid over the basic bones is an array of electronic music -- the wavy wails of "Another View Point," discordant spray in "I Hate Hate," or sparkling blips of "Brazil." But Cornelius knows when to put the electronics in the backseat and just let the instruments take over/5(22).

There's a wildly different sound in "Smoke's" a bouncy funky groove and "Drop's" a strummy pop. Shifting the tone is "Tone Twilight," a dreamy slow pop song with an ambient touch. Then Cornelius does an about-face in "I Hate Hate" with a spray of abrasive electronics leading to some aggressive, bombastic electro-rock/5(23).
